Really liking this phone- personally happy with full hd video recording only. The dimension in original post are wrong though, should say:

It sounds harsh saying only 1080p like its low resolution, but with the Note 4 as a direct competitor, plus all the added features of Android, Samsung and Touchwhiz, you'd really have to be a real Apple fan to think buying this over the Note 4. Or the LG G3 for that matter.
Oh and 8mp camera ? come on Apple, you've had the same camera for years now, at least upgrade it to 12mp minimum.

That's incorrect information. The sensor is still 1/3.0" size.

That is very harsh - with a 416 ppi it can be safely argued that no more is needed. And I have a LG G3 too so I can tell you first hand that the extra resolution is barely (if) noticed. On the other hand a 1080 resolution will ensure better battery life - while I think the battery life on G3 is ok it is far from the best
And also what phone is bringing a lot more over predecessor these days: to me Note 4 (which is a great phone btw) doesn't bring a lot more over Note 3 , same with s5 over s4 etc
