my sound went away after updating my iphone 4s to ios 7.03 and ios 7.04.........i google liked hell and found nothing who really helped.
then i found one guy who said it might be the iphone is stocked in "dock mode" because the docking connector has smudge/dust/dirt inside.....so i took a small tooth brush and cleaned the connector.......boom...done
