Yep your right there Sean mate, its bad enough with the Facebook app running constantly draining the battery let alone a Facebook book phone, or to be exact a phone running a Facebook launcher.
I wonder how many ads will automatically get pushed through on this new phone.

Just seems pointless to me.

There's already a bit here on the BBC news about privacy fears

Oh dear, well all phones can access Face Book weather it's via an app or integrated. I think with this phone having it so integrated i guess security could be worse. Or maybe i just have no idea what i am on about

I checked the price, too expensive, I will not buy.

Has anyone downloaded and tried Facebook home yet on another Android handset??

I tried to use it on my GS4, the app then spewed out a message saying it wasn't compatible with my device yet, so I deleted it.
Awful news for FB and HTC:
No Home for Facebook at AT&T: HTC First to be discontinued
http://bgr.com/2013/05/13/htc[....]scontinued-att-facebook-phone/
That has to be one of the quickest discontinuations of a device I've ever seen since the Microsoft KIN devices. WOW

Like I said in another thread somewhere, I don't want to see pictures of my friends drunk laid with their arses in the air or pictures of their babies chewing on a toy everytime I unlock my phone.
This news isn't unexpected by me.
