Camera samples look excellent!! I hope they have fixed the death grip issue though but overall lovely phone!!

Posted by rikken
The best camera on a Htc device so far The phone feels great to hold and looks great too but is a little on the heavyside

Posted by Bonovox
Oh you played with one??

Posted by rikken
Yeah, tried on in a store. Seems well built and the developement in Htc sense is good But I went for the SGS II for now since the Sensation is more expensive

Posted by Bonovox
Between the two I may have chosen the HTC. I do like something I can feel in my hand not something too skinny when it comes to mobiles.

Posted by rikken
I know but for me the SGS II is a better phone I may try the Sensation later but I want to use the Samsung for taking picture on my holydays

Posted by Bonovox
Ooh where are ya going on holidays??

Posted by rikken

Wow New York cool

Can anyone recommend for me a good HTC Sensation case, screen protectors? I see Zagg and a whole host of items available. I am thinking Zagg for the screen protector but don't know of any good cases.

Thanks in advance.

I have a HTC Sensation and I fitted a Aegis Protective Hardshell product code 198262 from the O2 shop it is recomended by HTC and has all the nessaray holes for the camera speaker microphones etc.. great case stops the back getting scratched and with a screen protector you've got it covered. Just to be on the safe side I keep mine in a HTC leather phone pouch.

Gunna get me one of these as its cheaper then
Samsung Galaxy S 2

Any off putters I should know now let me know
Know the battery isnt to great as I know this thru sources already

Steve Litchfield @ The Phones Show has just done a video review and has some reservations, including the mounting of the antenna in the back part that you pull off to access the battery. In fact I think the only thing he was really liking was Sense 3.0 and the screen resolution

worth a watch anyway

Posted by skblakee
Yes the battery life aint great and the antenna resides in the back cover which curves around the phone. I actually like the feel of the phone in my hand but battery life especially when on wifi is not the best.

I also don't like the 1gb of internal memory although one can put a 32gb memory card inside.

If you are not too much of a phone freak then you can live with it. It is fast, nice screen, nice pictures, nice videos.

So you got a Sensation then mate? Thought it was gonna be the SGS2?!

Had a Desire before, so definitely a fan of HTC, but the Samsung has won through for me on its size and weight, the lovely super AMOLED, and most important of all... unlocked bootloader!

Posted by skblakee
Got one but that is going to a mate when I get the SGSII. I love the Amoled too much. It has to be the SGSII or bust. I am new to android though so will wait for the Samsung to start tinkering with bootloaders.

Hopefully I get it next month.

Thanks Masseur for that input
I decided to get Sensation anyway,
When testing both again I felt the HTC felt better in my hand,
The Galaxy felt plasticy and was huge to hold.

The Sensation housing felt more worth it to.
Vodafone allowed me to keep my £20 tariff to 300mins 3000 texts and 1gb data,
The phone was £105 and Galaxy was £35 more

Have looked at phone yet waiting for a Mofi case to turn up for it before I mess with it
Nice tho the weather app is so kewl

Why do you need a weather app? Just look out the window and save battery power

Posted by Miss UK
har har
No but seriously the Animated weather is really kewl.
Never had it on my other HTC well that one was so
Budget tho

Nicephone can wait to get the case before I open it
Got my Gingerbread X10 in meantime

Posted by skblakee
Nice MissUK that you are getting one. I like it but my thing is the SGSII but it does feel really good in the hand.

Tell us what you think of it.

Enjoy!

Ive had it since tuesday only got round to opening it earlier
been so busy cos ive had work done to my home

btw it looks nice I hope HTC are gunna do arange of coloured backs
for it it would be awesome if they did !!!!!

Posted by Miss UK
Really love it its a nice looking handset which screams quality n every aspect.

Had no problems with it at all

Posted by Miss UK
Another thing its so darm fast ..
Boots up in mere seconds compared to
other phones lol

Highley urge you all to buy one for yourselves

Posted by Bonovox
Nah,no thanks The fast boot is only if you DON'T remove the battery.

Posted by Miss UK
Sean u need one seriousley sell those low crap end ones
N get one..

No faults with mine at all and its a Vodafone handset too

Posted by Miss UK
I feel like im the only actual person on this forum
With one of these yes using now to scribble in here

Btw I cant be bothered writing a review on it,
If you read what I wrote above how I felt upon buying it,
Then its still that way.

Its a great phone no problems at all with it,
Really fast does everything I need it to do.

It looks good feels expensive.
All im waiting for is htc to launch an array of coloured
Backs for it cos thats the genius of this phone if u damage ur back
It totally comes of and ur left with the screen so a htc with changeable
Fascias eventually.

The wifi and antena are on these backs so buying backs of eBay
Might be risky overall lol

Sensation XE with Beats by Dr.Dre
1750 battery 16gb card

Posted by Bonovox
Load of shit imo. Dr.Dre a bad attitude rapper who glamorizes violence says some headphones are good just cos they got bass What happened to clarity of music?? And just cos it has his name on does it mean they are good?? No. I hate the guy

Posted by Miss UK
Its Quite nice that hans
would've of been better if HTC had done that to the 0rig sensation (Battery 1.5 processor)
however ive heard it can be done regardless anyway but it ruins the warranty

not that I would do it to mine anyway
battery wise well theres improved one out already

Posted by p900 lover
Its time for a new phone and the iPhone 4s is disappointing so its going to either be a Samsung Galaxy S2 or the Sensation XE, are you sure its going to come with an 16GB card?

Posted by hihihans
16gb card is what it said but I'm not sure.

Posted by p900 lover
Cool i shall do some more research.
