Time to upgrade the server park. We are merging some of our very old servers into one machine and things can go wrong during this process.
We will shut down the web server soon and start moving recent uploaded files and database entries over to the new machine. The change will aslo involve change in DNS entries as we will have a new IP address. Your ISP might store a local version of the DNS entry (DNS is an index where the address http://www.esato.com points to an IP address) even though they should not have an older copy than 10 minutes. Chrome and Firefox browser will cache the DNS entry for 1 minute, while Internet Explorer won't discover a DNS change in 30 minutes.
This thread is for bug reports you might find after the move. Other comments should be posted in another thread.
We will take down the server for a couple of minutes in the afternoon tomorrow (August 18th) around GMT 19:00 to add more memory

The bugs I'm facing are that I can't access the full site either using Opera Mini on the Netfront built in browser. I just can access the mobile version.

I cant access ESATO via operamini. But i have just tried mobile builtin browser and here i am online. No mobile version though. Its full site.

Same here, i can't access the full html view, only xhtml via OM on KEmulator and desktop browsers.

For those using desktop browsers: clear your cookies and cache. Sometimes it won't load, sometimes it will.

OK I noticed via my pc everything on Esato is nice & speedy today. BUT. One thing I noticed is when your replying to a post in any thread it shows at the bottom of the screen that we have had a reply to this thread whilst you were replying. Nothing out of the ordinary there but the strange thing is everytime it says that no one else has replied
Give it time guys Laffen will sort it

One more bug with operamini is that once you login and when you are posting to any thread and if you take some time to write your post, it would lost the connection with server. Then if you try to post or reload any ESATO page, it is giving error.
You need to close operamini and retry it.
Do something pls.

Got a bug with the latest 10 latest posts section when posting a reply, where they don't show up, then show the latest post as a new reply since I started typing.

Opera for Mac Said new reply while typing (not) and couldn't find server while pressing Post.
Safari also said new reply. But I can post.
PM comes in while typing this, that's good.

Solved
Regarding Opera Mini, I am blaming Opera for the fault. My guess is that they are having issues with their DNS or something. I will wait a little longer and see. The latest test using two different mobile phones with Mini installed on both tells me that http://www.esato.com only is accessible from one of the phones while the other phone reports "Could not connect to server". mobile.esato.com and esato.mobi is accessible from both.

Just tested again with Opera Mobile. Seems like the problem are solved. I didn't do anything so it must have been their old copy of the DNS mapping

@Laffen using Opera on wap.esato.com I am still getting the reply to PM problem. It's fine on pc but on Opera if I reply directly to the PM it says username does not exist still. Instead I have to click on the persons username I want to send to & still I have to manually input their username to send anything

i am facing this very frequently. Sometimes operamini let me log in and open the threads, but when i try to post or i have read other post and took sometime in it, it would show me this error. Currently i am on UCweb. I am using operamini v5.1.21214. It was working flawlessly previously before the update.
but now its not. I have already cleared cookies.

I can't log into the main site on chrome or ie8.
On ie8 I'm getting dns error, server not found. Xhtml version is ok though.
I can only view the cached copy on chrome.

@bonovox, thanks partner. But it is different because it is a reply to a post and not to a PM. BTW, i am also experiencing what you have experienced in sending a reply to a PM, it prompts for an unknown user, instead, i use 'send a private message' button and manually typing the recipient's username in sending a private message.

After working properly. Opera, both mini and Mac gave errors. It can't handle Esato's greatness I think
