The previous thread starts to get a bit too long.. So I post a new thread since the X2 seems now to be "available" according to sonyericsson.com
I wonder where this fine piece of device is found first in the shops? I want to get my hands on an English version with qwerty-keyboard as soon as possible
I called yesterday (friday) to a couple of shops here in Finland, and they did not know any official release-date over here. I saw that someone mentioned that Sweden would get the X2 on wednesday. I wonder which shop this would be (in eg- Stockholm), cause i'm going on a business trip to sweden, and I would be return on wednesday, late afternoon

Given the recent pull of the Satio & Anio from UK Markets for software issues, I can see the X2 dissapearing into 2010. I can't see SE wanting any more embarrasments this year (not that the X2 will be, but just to be safe)

In what country did you order it? It suxx that you did not get any delivery date..
I don't think that this should do any difference for releasing the X2.. They run a completely different OS.. So it's most likely a complete different team that is developing it..

Here in The Netherlands, the device is almost ready but the release software has to come somewhere this week. Dunno what it is in other countries, maybe the same...

I really hope the x2 will be released asap.. i'm using for the moment an old nokia 9300, and that really suxx. It's so full of bugs that i'm getting crazy.. It's slow too!

Can't they get this blody phone in the shops already???!!! This pisses me off that SE announces a phone in SEPTEMBER, and releases it probably 4 months later!!
Having pressreleases like this are completely USELESS!
SE should do like Apple. The announce a phone when it's available in the shops!

SE have announced that due to "small adjustments" being needed the phone will be available the first weeks of January 2010.

Vodafone have it advertised is in stock on contract. Apparently its an exclusive to them for a while. The advert was in a newspaper I saw at work a week ago.

I called the SE customersupport before X-mas, and there they said that the X2 will be available fro 7th of January 2010. Practically this means that the wholesalers can start to order the phones, and before the phone is physically available to the public may take probably one extra week...
So, let's see if this works this time as they say...

I went into a local Vodafone shop yesterday, and was told that VF are no longer stocking the X2 due to the software issues, and delays.
They also told me that the Satio is having big problems..
I have been happy with Vodafone for many years, but there isn't many other phones they have that interest me..
I could stay with the X1, but I will be offered another phone soon.. and if the X2 is not available, I could end up with an Iphone 3G S

argh. been waiting since they announced the x2 for it to be released so i can finally upgrade my aging w960.
was told an adviser would ring me in january when they got stock. now im reading theyve given up on it and wont be releasing it all
very dissapointed with VF first the HD2 now the x2. i really need a new phone but dont want to be lumbered with something i dont want. and right now there is nothing out. or coming out. that i even remotley like

Here in Sweden X2 has been released and hit the shelves in the stores yesterday - mine was even delivered to my office yesterday and i will get my package tomorrow morning.
