How to get data when phone says Insert Sim W880i

My phone has stopped accepting any sim card. I can get it replaced under warranty, but I would like to get my phone numbers from it.

I have tried connecting the phone to my PC, but it just says please insert sim card.

Is there any way around this?

Did you try flashing or updating the phone?
It has got locked I think.

you can use MyPhoneExplorer(MPE) to backup your phone.
