K810 firmware in K800, is it possible?

Has anyone tried flashing their K800 with K810 firmware using Wotan service? I saw that on Wotan server it states K810 firmware can be flashed on K800.

Yes, I did. Unfortunately, you will face keypad light problems. The rest is good features- TrackID and PhotoFix.

Yes, the keypads(hardware) are different on each phone.....

So after the flash(or at the same time as finalising), use FAR/XS++ etc.. to replace the K810's light effects with K800 ones, and you'll be fine.....

Flash Main Firmware K810 and you K800 have Photo fix , but TrackID you must flash File System K810 , then put lighteffect's and keyboard have not bug.

*** Back up your SMS, contacts, notes ... with MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.7.0.exe
Click F2, then Search device and if cann't find phone install USB drivers:
k800_usb_signed_drivers.zip
k810_usb_signed_drivers.zip

I. Flash File System (See the example at the beginning of the post!)

Disconnect USB cable and remove batery and put again batery , DO NOT TURN ON PHONE

II. Customize File System (See the example at the beginning of the post!)

.Select your CDA and Region:::.

Again disconnect USB cable and remove batery and put again batery , DO NOT TURN ON PHONE

III. FLASH MAIN

K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52.rar -> Download

Again disconnect USB cable and remove batery and put again batery and Turn ON phone , wait to read -> Please , wait..

IV. Then put lighteffects -> Download (click Extract Here , I maked own_custpack/TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/lighteffect )

Move XS++ and folder own_custpack in New Folder and make this:

@rockygali you can flash only Main Firmware K810 R6BC002 if your K800 have R1KG001 ( CID 52 ) , then you have Photo fix option in camera , but phone language is only english ( writing language no problem ) .

No , you can not add languages , this is impossible. Only when flash File System K810_R6BC002_FS_APAC_RED52 and select your CDA and Region you have all phone languages for your region.

Flash on Main Firmware -> 2 - 3 min. and you have Photo fix

Photo mate have update only on "Pictures of people" , NO problem with certificate application java .

With fs k800 r1gk001 you have application Photo mate but can delete , with FS K810 ( R6BC002 ) Photo mate you can /b]not[/b] delete .
If you turn again original FS K800 R1KG001 can delete -> Photo mate .

all the applications java cannot be cancelled and also the games but are not a problem for me... but I do not succeed to update modules in photo mate "error connection" to the base is a problem in the applications...

@gprsman you have personal problem with GPRS settings for Java application

Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Internet settings > Settings for Java > select GPRS profil

I would like to frimware upgrade my k800i to k810. and still keep all the OEM Casino Royale stuff on it. like the theme song and movies. and sounds and themes. I also want to fix the lighting on the keypad issues.

is there a step by step procedure for this.

You have not seen the guide of centur with the images? for having firmware royal casino enough to customizzare with its custompack... and after to write in the file system the files in order not to have the problem keypad.

I have updated it to the latest firmware just not daring enough to try the k810 haha

Yeah, theres nothing too noticible after upgrading, the only real reason would be if you want trackid and photofix which.... i probably wont really be using either too much

since photofix isn't exactly the fastest thing in the world and i like to play with the original photos myself in photoshop

Try SEUS first, it will install lastest firmware and also upgrade to CID52.

Pd: If that doesn't work you could try wotan, but it's not free ....

SEUS is the best way in my opinion to upgrade CID. Then you can flash your main and fs with K810 firmware

with unlocking via patch flash yes ...with code via imei no ...unlockig cid 52 for k810 much money 50� 1 log only davinci client .

Well today im going to be upgrading to the R1KG001 manually because sues wont do it for me, says im up to date... and after that update im going to update to the k810 firmware as well as FS, I bought downloading rights from www.topsony.com so i downloaded the all the right packs, wish me luck, for as if you dont see me back on here today that means my phone is

down for the count...

pm if you need any files off of topsony, i can download and post some where.
