I still love my k800 even tho I now own a k850

Pros
Still a great camera by today's standards, full of brillian features.
SE's nice logical navigation system, it's always very easy to find what you're looking for as there's often more than one way of reaching certain screens/options.
Multitasking is very useful, shortcuts button allows you to easily switch between running apps and start new ones

Cons
Video recording quality is poor (low res, blocky compression) - something SE seem not to care about.

Conclusion
I wouldn't list the joystick as a con because mine still works well after 18 months of use, although I was careful to clean the dirt out of it that builds up gradually. Though it is slightly outdated now I do think its still a great phone if you're looking for a phone that does everything for a low price.

Old Timer still calls the shots

Pros
Great Camera, even though its nearly its 2nd Birthday! Great support for customization, decent MP3 player and an amazing Flash

Cons
Joystick wears after 10 months of daily use, Back of phone is a funny shape, sometimes hard to balance on a car dashboard for example.

Conclusion
These phones are about £80 new now and in my eyes are still a top 10 phone of today. Although it lacks the modern spec such as WiFi or HSDPA, the phones camera capabilities and easy as ever sony ericsson UI, make it one of the best mobile phones by SE of all time

Verdict
5 (out of 5)

Everything amazed me except the camera!

Pros
Design, at least for me, you can choose from three colors; great display, much better than the one found in K750i, MP3 player is great, even dough there's no Megabass. Xenon flash, which is in the phone this time, so you don't have to carry MXE-60 around anymore, like it was the case with K750i.

Cons
The camera! Maybe you wonder why, well mostly because of strong noise reduction which ''eats the details'', and low saturation, so the colors look pale comparing to K750i.

Conclusion
Coming from K750i, I have to say that I had WOW effect when I first turned the phone on, mostly because of the great display, and faster menus. When I first saw the phone I thought it was too big, and ugly, but everything changed when I took it in my hands. I would highly recommend this phone, but beware of strong noise reduction, and ''water color'' effect especially in flash photos!

Everything a Phone Lover Can Ask For & More!

Pros
Excellent 3.2 mega-pixel, autofocus Cyber-shot camera plus xenon flash and countless other shooting modes (incl. macro mode), big bright screen with exceptional clarity and vivid colours, solid build, good battery life, 3G capable, M2 card slot for memory expansion, good call clarity and volume, good on-the-go music capabilities with A2DP, stable and user-friendly UI, great keys with tactile response, wide file type compatibility, and much more.

Cons
Rear speaker could be of better quality (crackling issues with some ringtones at louder volumes), could've included additional LED photo light for use as a torch and as an illuminator when video recording.

Conclusion
What can I say? This phone will definitely become one of Sony Ericsson's best mobile phones ever made (following the huge success from the W800i, K750i, and W810i). It really has everything from 3G to an exceptional 3.2 mega-pixel camera, and loads more in between! The only gripes I have with it are listed above (LED photo light and better rear speaker). This truly is a wonder to behold, and can only be appreciated first-hand. Good job Sony Ericsson!

A short K800 review

Pros
After having the K800 for some time I can say that this phone is a real BOOOM in my opinion. It has good camera, good screen and it is very reliable phone. It has also very stable firmware which will never let you down.

Cons
K800 phone can be flashed with K810 firmware also, which updates your phone to the newest available firmware for it's hardware - the R6BC002. Then you get TrackID and some other good stuff like photofix and etc...

Conclusion
K800 is one of the best choices for users that like combination of good and reliable phone and excellent camera. The phone can be modded also, which makes it perfect to suit your needs.

Verdict
4 (out of 5)
