Hello...
I am looking for exact audio and video compatibilities for W810i..
Like which are the Audio and Video formats which can be played on W810i.
.dat, .avi - i tried em - IT didnt play
.wav - Some .wav's were played but some weren't..and those which were played had crackings noises... and so much that my friends was like SE has S**t sound system...see ur cracklings.. Damn i was so embarassed..
So what was the reason of crackling noise.!!
So pls let me know default AUDIO and VIDEO formats that are supported and some patches or updates which might help me using some more..!!
btw last thing....
Which is better for audio - m4a or mp3,
Which is better for video - 3gp or mp4
And any tool which might let me interconvert between these...i meant
m4a <-> mp3 and Any <-> 3gp/mp4 ??

I use m4a for audio. I don't convert from mp3 to m4a though. I buy them online at that format. Works very well and sounds sweet. mp4 video works very well for me. I use super encoder to convert them for the w810. avi, mpeg, dat files will not play on the w810. You need to convert them to mp4 or 3gp with a max size of 176 x 144.

U are lucky my friends....my w810i....i really dont understand, when it on file transfer mode it doesnot recognise anything....i cant transfer nothing, i used only once on the very first day and it was fine but just after that it went off and i really dont understand why...plz help.

Just reduce the quality of the MP4 video you're using and it will work fine. I use to put whole movies on my W800 in MP4 format. It plays them great. I run FW R1BC002, but they worked good even with my previous firmware R1AA008.
