For the price, a pretty good piece of kit.

Pros
It's stylish.
Feels quite solid, it'll probably last a while and take a beating.
OLED screen usually wows people.

Cons
If you keep anything else in the same pocket as your phone and you're listening to the walkman, there's a chance the buttons will register and change your music for you.
There's a light but it can't be used as a flash or torch.
Even at this price the camera's a bit weedy.

Conclusion
The W380 is a pretty nice phone - it looks and feels great, and for a budget price it's not too badly designed either. The external screen is quite nifty, giving you a quick synopsis of any new events (calls, messages, etc) and the phone feels sturdy. The gesture control is a pretty good feature if you're lazy and like to snooze our alarms, but it feels like more of a gimmick than an actual feature. The speaker's pretty loud but I'm afraid the praise ends there.
The back cover does take a bit of dexterity to remove and the screen is noticeably smaller than one might expect. The camera's a bit of a letdown as well - in this day and age, 1.3 MP and no video or flash isn't brilliant, and although there is a light that alerts you to any incoming calls or alarms, it doesn't seem to work as a torch or flash for the camera.Nonetheless, a pretty good phone overall, and definitely worth a glance. Think of it as a flip-phone K750 with an older camera.

Verdict
4 (out of 5)
