Note the camera has 7.99MP (or 8.0 as shown on the board) so why the mention of 8.1 megapixels???

The C905 might have a 8.1 megapixel censor but the image produced could have 7.9 megapixels. Read more about effective pixel at dpreview. http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/key=Effective_Pixels
