Ericsson T66 soon to hit the shelves

18 December 2001
The credit card sized T66 will soon be available to consumers. The Swedish operator Telia is able to deliver the T66 in the first week of 2002.Telia Sweden will be one of the first distributors to offer Ericsson's smallest phone ever. The T66 have the size of a credit card with its 92 x 41 x 18,5 dimensions and a weight of only 59g. The latest models from Ericsson T68 and T65 has been a great success and it will be interesting to see if the T66 can follow up it's predecessors.

While T68 was aimed at power users and T65 at the youth, T66 could be targeted at a wider audience. It's especially the small size that separates this model from the rest and it will probably attract users which don't need all advanced features found in the more expensive models. The T66 is missing IrDA, Bluetooth and GPRS but like all new Ericsson models it is a Triple band phone. Other features include WAP, Chat and calendar functions.
