Found a nice bit of cheap software called Beam Pro from http://www.ecamm.com.
For a very reasonable $8 this program will beam via bluetooth or IR any file that resides anywhere on your Palm device. So you can connect you Palm to your PC in the normal way and synchronise or load, say, an MP3. You can then use Beam Pro to get the file from your Palm device onto your phone.
It's pretty good if you don't have a bluetooth enabled PC.
I managed to get a rather offensive 'Fluffy Wee C&%t' ringtone from an email on my work PC through to my phone using that method. |

Yup.
A couple of dollars more but seems to do the same job.
Some of these things could do with a sticky thread I think. |
