I did it too, when i started /// forum, it was a kind of advertisement and wake attention. Today i dont need it anymore.

No its just you. People bump their own threads to move them to the top of the pile. Its as simple as that

Bump moves the thread to the top of the pile, as mentioned, but how to you drop the thread to the bottom of the pile? This would be useful for threads like this one.
