Reading the last few pages of the topic gives a rather good indication to why it was locked.

You all had to admit that the thread was poinless, ie. SE were not innovative, yes they were they did this, thats not innovation, innovation is blablabla, no according to me innovation is blablabla.

My point is, there are no winners & the thread didnt help anyone. Better off locked

Bart, no offence. But you were acting as though you were in charge of Sony Ericsson toward the end of that thread, as if no matter what anyone would say or do you had your views, which you saw as fact and you weren't going to change them at all. Why make a statement and then be surprised when people turn against your opinion? You and Yazan made it clear that what you had to say was in the stone correct. Sure, they aren't innovative all the time but they have and will are are being, it was closed down because it was going round in circles.

Now just shut up, grow up and move on! [addsig]

It doesn't matter who did.

If a thread has gone off-topic (just like this) any mod or the admin can lock it anytime.

just to confirm that I did indeed lock the thread for reasons already given, i.e. it was way off topic. Indeed it was asking to be closed for quite a while but then it kept getting interesting again so I left it alone

finally though I think its gone as far as it can go in the current discussion

as most people know I almost always give reasons or inform people of my actions but in this case I really thought it was clear so if that was not the case then I appologise
