Just want to know do i format a memory stick on my phone or on a memory stick reader? Wants faster data cable or the reader? Like to transfer 1-2 albums on a 128mb stick?

Theres a Format disk option in the control panel

always best to format on the phone but its faster to copy stuff to the memory stick using a USB card reader/writer

Ok so format mem stick on phone. And transfer through reader. Right? Around how much songs can i put on a 128mb stick?

Format on the phone ONLY works on the Pxxx phones.. you will find the S700i does NOT have a format option.

well if its a S700 you're talking about then yeah, its not possible in phone so you'll have to format externally
