What parent lets thier 2 year old wander the streets at 10pm on a Sunday night. Are they in the dock too?

Why did the driver not have his lights on? Was he drunk?

why was he speeding, and more importantly why didn't he pull over if he needed to text someone so badly?!

did it pass your mind that the parents might have been walking over the street with the 2 year old... and the stupid driver didn't see them and therefore the kid died cuz kidz are more vurnerable than older people..

I get really mad when I read about accidents like this one

@S4k1s

I'm a parent. When you cross the road with a 2yr old, you hold thier hand or you carry them.
At 10pm a 2yr old should be in bed asleep. If not you can expect poor behaviour the next day. Regular late nights will create severe behavioural problems. I call that poor parenting.
At 10pm on a Sunday night, most responsible adults would be preparing for bed so as to get a good nights sleep before work on Monday morning. Do they not work either?

If there is a good reason for these circumstances, I'll apologise for my comment's. However I believe that if you walk on the edge of a cliff, sometimes you fall off... Stupid behaviour often ends in tradgedy.

And the driver should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Does anyone actually have any details on this, because speculating on the liability of the parents given the circumstances seems more than a bit unfair otherwise. If there is any information that suggests that they have neglected their duties then fair enough, but I think it is totally unfair to generalise by saying that because it was 10pm and the child was not in bed, they are bad parents.

How judgmental can you be with so little information?
