Alcatel OT C753 is not yet announced. It's 3.9 mm thicker than the Motorola RAZR V3, but in both of the other dimensions it's 11 mm smaller. It's also lighter by 25 gramms, so a nice and small phone!

- GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 87 x 42 x 17,3 mm, 70 gramm
- 128 x 160 (1.9")TFT display with 262.144 colors
- 640 x 480 (VGA) camera
- 3 MB built-in memory
- GPRS class 10
- JAVA MIDP 2.0
- WAP 2.0
- Speakerphone, voice commands, etc.

Motorola V3: 98 x 53 x 13.9 mm, 95 gramm
Alcatel C753: 87 x 42 x 17,3 mm, 70 gramm

Yep...I was never a big fan of the Razr anyway,i really don't like that whole large clamshell,Startac design feature.I think small thinner clamshells like the Z600 work better. [addsig]

Well, the Moto V3 has 5.5 MB memory and it is extremely expensive. This one will be cheap and good average phone.. I think there's a need for basic phones with limited capabilities on lower price!

I think i touched a nerve their!

I agree that its not as stylish as the V3, but the V3 is just too much like the old startac and that design is just a "has been" and is nothing fresh. [addsig]

I dunno about nothing fresh. I sometimes put my startac against my v3 and its then that I realise how far motorola have come since that old model

the memory is probably the biggest let down of this phone and the V3

Remember, some people only use their phones for ringing! And you only need a small amount of memory for a huge phonebook, and you don't need much for a few snappy photos.

You must remember that others than ourselves just need their phone for ringing and go for the style option not the features! [addsig]
