I've got mpegable live/x4, and I use it 4 converting videos. But there is one thing: what format is the input file? I mean I had files 4 input, and instantly closes (in XP, with that "send, don't send" window), or it sais "no input video (directshow mismatch)". What should I do?

Yes, but avi is encoded in many ways. Which encoding, divx 4,5? Xvid?

it accepts all encodings if the appropriate decoder is installed in the system, otherwise it'll show an error message.
