buy it from the place where there is no import tax (for electronics, not cars and tabacco and liquor).
Like they said, Sim Lim Square is your best bet. But you will have to fend yourself against rude and sometimes temperamental salespeople.

Jeri, did you try mong kok? If you take the MTR to mong kok and the then use the exit for 'The Ladies Market' Just across the main road is huge shopping centre, three floors of mostly Mobile phone shops, and lots cheaper and less daunting than the sharks on Nathan Road.
