Hello,
as my V8 is still....errr dead. I cannot test it. So if anyone with a working V8 can follow Voda Jon's instructions to see.
But be warned - he may have given you the key combination to kill your phone 
By the way there is some new FW on EMMA II i think its only developer though. R1J still the latest.

I wouldnt want ne1 to kill there phones coz of me! Just imagine the damage i could do if i try to use setools or something similiar!!!

I now have a reputation as a phone serial killer, and NO i dont mean the Phone IMEI killer, although that has got a nice ring to it and NO i dont mean RINGtone, although that has a certain buzz about it! and NO i dont mean VIBRATE, although my GF wouldnt mind that....
I'll end it there.... Successfully making myself aware that too many boost bars can make u type for hours without stoppin! YAY!

In February a "new R1J" sw was released to SE points in Greece. With the new R1J you can lock to GSM (with the old one no). |

Hi, my V800 doesn't have the option, even though its ITP is: cxc 125834 r1f
software version is r1j002
i can change it to manual selection, and i can then choose a network (the vodofone one without the blue star), but like its been mentioned before, it will automatically go back to 3g whenever it wants.
shame like, coz i think this switching bewteen 2g/3g is whats running my battery down so fast. |

Sometimes I really like cell phones, and change it often.Last year i got a LG Chocolate one, but at my angry moment i throw it away, so it died! And this year i bought this kind of cell phone with cheap price, but i am afraid of his fate then. I hate the noises of irrelevant calls,you know sometimes i just want to be alone, that is enough, anyone knows how can i do? I have got a cell phone jammer in Google, but I heve no idea of it, ask some profession for help!
