I just picked up a 2005 BMW 530i. It comes with a built-in bluetooth and voice modular as a standard equipment. After giving up on making my P910i and my iMate Jam to work properly with the car, I picked up a T610 from a local store. The T610 supposedly is fully compatible with the car.

I can make calls, receive calls, and use voice dialing without any problems. The phone book though does not sychronize or it does not appear as it does.

I have searched this and other forums and many users have good success with the T610. Several posts though do recommend forcing the synch by sending "Send All" the address book to the car. How would I do that? When I do send all via Bluetooth, the phone does not think that the car is a proper device to send the address book to.

By the way, in about 3 minutes from connecting to the car, the phone act very slow. I wonder if it is actually synching the address book!!

Does anybody know how long if it is synchronizing I should leave it doing it? I did for 30 minutes and nothing showed up.

Can anybody confirm that they were able to do this on a 2005 530I??

Thanks,

Gas. Diesel is not very popular here in the US.

I actually got it working. I left it for 45 minutes and finally the whole phone book is completely synchronize to my car. Pretty cool!
