Hello, all
I've just completed installing the BMW (retrofit) Bluetooth kit in my MY2003 5er. I am very impressed with the functionality. Not only can I control the phone via the MID and steering wheel controls, but it automatically hoovered all of my T68i's phone book into the car. My T39 has to be manually loaded. Has anyone else on the Board played around with the functionality? I'm wondering what else I can do. It's supercool, to be sure.

Is bluetooth available as a dealer option as promised? Would you mind posting the kit part number just in case it's not?

It's not yet available in the U.S. but it is avail. in Germany. I purchased my kit from Autohaus Freiburg. One problem is that U.S. dealers cannot code the feature yet so there may be some bumps there. Good luck.

You are welcome. I'm not sure where "here" is but if you are in the States, you should expect it perhaps June timeframe.
