T68i bluetooth speed problems |

I have WXP SP2, Epox bluetooth USB dongle and T68i. My problem is very slow data transfer by synchronization. I have aprox. 200 contacts in phonebook and synchronization is for about 15 minutes.
By synchronization I have data loss - links from phonebook to pictures and personal rings.
Picture sending within mobiles via bluetooth or PC is fine.
Plz help. |

the first synchronization will be slow. although, i feel that it is not 15 minutes on mine (Anycom BT PCMCIA card + T68i). Is it slow on GPRS access too? |

Here's the situation. When you send your phonebook using Bluetooth or IR, all associated pictures are also sent (and stored in the same file as the contact information). That's why it takes so long to syncronize/transfer the phonebook. The same problem occurs when sending the whole phonebook to another phone using Bluetooth or IR.
The solution is to de-assign all associated pictures for your phonebook before doing the transfer. Afterwards, you can re-assign them again.
