It took my service center about 25 minutes.... It's not that difficult, you connect it with the computer, go to the Emma II server, type your password and then choose the language.... the computer does the rest.... |

You must probably sent your T68 abroad to get the upgrade http://www.esato.com/help/faq.php#howtoupgrade |

I reckon the process lasts about 20-25 minutes.
But over here in Singapore, SE tells us to come back to "pick up" our T68s after 2 hrs.
I guess to keep the queue controllable... |

I took my phone into CarPhone Warehouse in Manchester.
I got my phone back in 1 hour.... without the upgrade.
aparently my phone has internal damage, and cannot be upgraded.. even though I have never experienced any problems with it..
Anyone got any ideas on this?? is this a legit excuse or is it that I didn't buy my phone from there so they don't want to upgrade it??
I'm sad and unhappy. |

I took mine to A Novo Digicom in warrington. It failed 3 times, and then worked on the fourth. God knows why it failed. Try taking ur T68 to A Novo Digicom, I dont trust Carphone Warehouse. I dont really see how ur phone can work perfectly and not be upgraded!!

If ur phone has internal damage, then the service centre ppl are bound to repair it. Or u can blame the damage on them.

I got 2 mc's upgraded at sony-ericsson north edsa free of charge yesterday. The latest version is r7a013 which comes in two language packs, Chinese (the one with inconsistent font sizes) and Bahasa (the one without wuziqi).
I just wanted the users to know that its free of charge (even non-warranty units) and the employees were as polite as the people at smartnet and semicon sm manila.
Good day!
