I've just bought a k700 and a bluetooth adapter. I've paired up the two but I cannot send files. I get adviced to check that my "OBEX File Push Profile" is installed. What is this? I've googled on the subject but get nothing.

Can someone explain what "OBEX File Push Profile" is, how I can verify if it is installed and if not WHERE can I get it?

I'm probably being a bit thick but what was the solution? I'm having the same problem with my 6230, I can sent to my PC but that's about it and I get the "If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed." message as well. It all seems to work fine with my PC at work though.
Any help would be great.

If you guys use win xp, open my bluetooth places. On the left hand side, open the bt setup wizard, click on- i know the specific device and i want to configure the service that it uses. Next pair the phone, and once its done you see a list of services. Click obex and continue. Hope this helps.

I had a similar problem, I got around it by right-clicking on the file I wanted to send to my mobile and using the 'Send to' option from the menu to send it to a Bluetooth device. I'm not entirely sure why this worked when the direct method didn't, but you might want to give it a try.

It may sound obvious, but have you made sure that Bluetooth is activated on both devices?

Have you made sure that the two devices are paired with one another?

Can you send files from your mobile to your PC?

@Si_V80

Right-click on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray and select 'Open Bluetooth Settings'; a dialog box will appear, select the 'Options' tab and make sure that the option to allow Bluetooth devices to connect to your computer has been enabled.

Have you tried deleting the PC from the 'My Devices' list on your handsets and then pairing them again?
