I recently found a k700i and couldnt believe my luck!
It is an o2 phone but it had a T-mobile sim in it. anyway the phone accepted my sim card which is o2 but when i check the phone status it does not have my number on it? also is there anything else i should know about this phone? |

@ashley, welcome mate! Try to go to phonebook menu, look for "my mobile" add your cellphone # in it. after that you should be able to see your mobile when you check phone status by pressing volume bar.

hiya
yeah my phone says the same - it has my old phone number on it. im not worried thou way i see it if someone steals my phone they will get the wrong number for the sim! lol! |

Well i tried to change it in the phonebook but call me dumb i cant find what your talking about! i know it sounds silly but as you probably guessed the phone didnt come with an instruction manual! |

Goto phonebook -> options -> my business card and enter your number and save.

Above wouldn't help you much... Go to Contacts -> Options -> Special numbers -> My numbers -> My mobile -> enter your mobile # here.
Now when you go to Phone ststud you will see your number

thank you so much! it worked so thats one less thing to bother me haha!
apparently the camera has a zoom on it? i cant seem to find that oh and i also cant get onto the wap? any ideas? |

yup the zoom only works on the two lowest quility settings,press 1 while in camera mode to scroll through them then press up and down on the joystick to zoom,anythin else u wanna know?

thanks for the reply on that it does work!
the only other thing i need to know is why the internet is not working on my phone? i had a samsung before and it worked on there but now i have this phone it just will not connect? plus i can not send picture messages- does it have anything to do with not being able to get on the net? |

you need to setup your phone first before you can connect. check from your provider or check from SE's website for a setup that can be sent via SMS. when you recieve it, just save. I think there are different setups for MMS and Internet connection.
