Hey guys, wonderin if anyone can give me an unbiased opinion on what they think the best phone at the moment is. I dont necisarilly want an SE phone as the last one i had, was not only crap (T300) i had hell when it stopped working and i had to get it repaired, as it was away for 3 months. I cant afford a P*** as they r about £200 on contract so they are out of the question. At the moment im thinking of getting a Orange SPV C500 as i like the windows mobile software, and, i'd like to convert it to run linux too. Anyone had any problems with an SPV that I should kno about, or do you have any other recommendations?

What do you want in your phone? Do you want a smart phone? N6600 or 7610 are good too.

ok, i need bluetooth, video, and POP email access. looking for a phone that has expandable memory and preferably an mp3 player too. This is why im leaning towards the SPV, cuz it has WMP, outlook, and 64MB ROM anyway, plus a Mini SD slot. Im not sure what symbian OS is like in comparison to Windows Mobile though, is it better or worse? |

hmmm...i saw it a while back and quite liked the look of it then. Screen is smaller than te SPV and it has a slower processor, and it seems to be impossible to get hold of in the UK |

I think you should have a nokia 9210 or nokia 7700 communicator. I think they are best.

nokia communicator's r huge and expensive, they are also ugly! If i had the money I would buy a SE P910 over a communicator any day! |

The 7700 (not a Communicator) is an unreleased concept and the 9210 was scrapped months ago. The new 9300, however, is about the size of a 50% thicker 6310i, but this will probably also be quite expensive and lacks a camera.
