Hi!
I have just upgraded to a P910i from a P900. I have backed up my P900 to computer, but am unable to get the data onto my P910i. I only need my contacts. (I no longer have the P900)
Any ideas? |

Hi Gary,
Welcome to Esato.
Let me tell you you need to be more specific about threads titles the "Need help" kinda thread ain't gona help you much getting people's attention.
No way to get them i'm afraid.
You should have synchronized your contacts with outlook and your P900 (storing them in Outlook) and then synchronize back with your P910 the other way around.
Like this:
P900 --> Outlook --> P910
P900 backup files should be different from the P910 ones.
Good luck...
(Maybe you can get a friends P900 and do this process, backing up his first )

Gutted!
They dont tell you these things when you upgrade do they?
My P900 had to go back to Vodafone on warranty. They couldnt replace with a P900, so opted to give me the P910i instead.
I thought "Great... Free upgrade"
Wish I hadnt bothered now. :'(

Sorted it.
Borrowed a mates P900.
Backed up his profile to PC.
Restored my profile to his phone
Went into Contacts -> Select All - Send As Bluetooth
Bluetoothed to P910i
Restored profile back to mates phone!
