hehe.. An exciting technology-frenzy future awaits us.. It's great! Btw, I think that someone at Bluetooth Consortium already patented that idea

Yeah,..so the "rumour" on memory-stick was right after all
Its very neat in real life this baby,..doesnt appear "that big",..and certaintly not clumsy, hehe.
About the pricing of the P-800,..here in Dk most people believe/say it will be around dk.kr 6-7000,-. (divide these numbers with approx 7,4 and you have the Euro-price).
But no one really knows just what the price will be.
The one phone/pda you could compare with, is the JOEY XDA,..price is also estimated to approx 6-7000 dk.kr.

I didn't have the time to visit the Bluetooth show, would have been funny to have met you there!

I have seen the pictures of the P800 in someone’s hands, but I still can't imagine the phone itself in my hand (I feel as if its a big blocky brick), so I still need to hold it in my hands! (Swipe, hehe). |

We have a streaming video (Real Player) over normal Bluetooth 1.1. Works just marvelous. But do not forget that Bluetooth is point-to-point, which is not suitable for broadcasts (can be done with WLAN). |

Yeah, we should have Esato get-togethers! Firstly, we can arrange meetings in country-by-country basis, that is one meething in the UK, one in Denmark and one in Sweden, and so on..
and then, we can all decide a place, like Cebit in Germany as a big central meeting or get-together for all Esato users around the world Hopefully this idea or imagination can someday be realised!

Bluetooth has maximum real life transfer rate of about 80-120kB/s (that's kilobytes). Nowhere near 12Mbit/s... that's way less than 1Mbit/s, more like 0.5Mbit/s.
Memory stick sounds very disappointing to me, because it's Sony proprietary. I, for one, have already invested in SecureDigital & Compact-Flash. So no memory stick products for me. Besides, memory sticks have lower capacity and they're more expensive than both CF and SD cards! Unless, there's an adapter memory stick <-> CF or SD, of course... |
