well, i stumbled across this website the other day. MacGyver used to be one of my favourite shows. This webiste has an (almost) definitive list of the weird and wonderful ploys MacGyver used to get out of a jam.

i remember in the pilot episode of Stargate SG-1 that Sam Carter had a line about trying to "MacGyver" something up (which she said to Richard Dean Anderson's characer!)

My personal favourite was MacGyver using a load of pine cones and turning them into a land mine.

I choose to study chemistry because of McGyver and i don't regret it. Had lot of fun in labs. But thank God I studied economy too.

I think if it carried on, he would eventually run out of ideas.

What are you doing Macgyver?

Well. you see that bridge is out, and any second now we will plummet to our doom, luckily i have my T610 and some tic-tacs, which will make a...a... nice tasting phone? Oh crap.

Lol. My fave was the bamboo biplane he made to escape a slave labour camp. That, and the 'fysics follies' episode.
