Don’t think we’ve ever been as pissed about our phone as this guy was after Verizon refused to replace his defective Kyocera 7135. He decided to use it for target practice rather than pay the 350 bucks they wanted before sending him a new one.

| I used top love my Kyocera 7135 until it started crashing on me daily!!!!
Even after a default reload it continued to crash. I got used to carrying a SD card to restore it. Finally I sent it in to Verizon. They fixed it and three weeks I got it back. Then again it started crashing. Sent it back to Verizon again... and again they said they fixed it. Got it back and guess what... crashing again. It turns out the model I had was version one and had a little problem. Verizon was happy to replace the unit for a small sum, $350.00.... No Way. Off to a new phone and today I finally gave the phone what it deserved. a 22 cal and a 357 right to the face plate! Woo Hoo. |

Put the poor thing out of it's misery I guess!
There's been plenty of phones I've wanted to do that to!

@kim: the trick with the t610 is to actually shoot it through the camera.

After shooting it i would have built a small cannon for it, and see if being a little airbourne would have effected it......Heh. But as for phones to shoot, ALL SLIDERS! DEATH TO THEM ALL |

Just thought.... didn't realise Kyocera made mobiles - thought they just made laser printers and stuff.....
And it's a very ugly phone too (notwithstanding bullet holes!). Also looks very big and cumbersome, with an aerial that wouldn't look out of place on an early '90s Nokia

You havn't seen the half of it. I would link to their site but I dare say that the shock of seeing their phones may kill those weak of heart. Worse then their looks, some of the names..."Phantom" for example, although they do have a claimed-to-be smart phone. THey also have that dreaded "Slider" design that I hate soo much.....I hate those phones... |

amazing how you all find it perfectly normal that this character
a) owns a gun and
b) shoots it empty out of nothing but frustration
Could be me, but it hardly qualifies as rational behaviour, does it?

I think it's treated as 'normal' as this guy's from America - where it seems that every corner shop sells firearms, and it's an integrated part of their culture. Viz: "Hi, can I get a pint of milk, 20 Marlboros, a Snickers bar, and, er.... oh yes, one of those nice automatic pistols to go, please"
It would probably have caused a stir if it was the UK or a european country I think!
