Actually you need to get a hutch web not wap account. That is called hutch access and they charge you 499pm. You can also surf web with it.

@ayush
it does dude... i used to check my pop3 mail from my old t 65 using wap.vsnl does offer pop3 on wap.
u call up the vsnl office, and ask them the pop3 incoming and outgoing server addresses...
not the names :mail.vsnl.net or smtp.vsnl.net
it something like 202.321.. the numbers.
check it out.
and the email profile needs to be like really perfect.
the only thing is that it needs a lot of time to download the mails. and no attachments...
ciao

no.. i tried from spice first.. and then airtel...
i don't think it matters what operator u are on.
it just matters that there is a gprs connection, u have an email client (on se t610.. in the messaging menu, then in email) and that you've entered the right pop3 server addresses (this is really imperative) and other misc settings.
try it out.. its a lil trial and error, but once it starts working.. its really cool

thanx 4 the link but could not find the address for vsnl pop3 in it.
will it work with Rs99/pm hutch gprs ? I just got Rs499 full connection ie gprs over gprs yesterday to get the feel, though.
so if there is way to access any free pop3 over Rs99pm gprs plz let me know.
thanx in advance.
