Australia's Big Brother television show suffered an embarrassing u-turn after a SMS voting error lead to the wrong person being evicted. The contestant, Bree was voted out but the show producers had to issue a statement saying that there have been a mistake in counting SMS votes.
Legion Interactive, which is managing the SMS voting service on behalf of the TV channel has accepted responsibility for the error, the statement says.
"Legion advised [of] the error upon completion of its regular post-eviction audit of voting," it said.
It says Legion has "undertaken to ensure something like this cannot occur again".
Once Legion has recounted the votes, the correct contestant will be evicted later this week.
Once Bree was re-admitted into the house - the main topic of conversation as befits the program was on her new hairstyle.

they blamed "human error", and the host of the show asked "presumably that error has a name, but do they still have a job?"

Its a shame we can't watch the aussie version of BB over here in the u.k...I love the aussie accent.I would have thought they would have played it on E4 or some other satelite channel.
