Orange UK give free healthcare, free life cover, loads of discounts on car, home insurance etc etc.
Also a free mobile (or you can pay a little extra for a decent one).
You pay no line rental. Texts are 1p each. Calls to orange and landlines are 1p min. Cross net is 15p peak & offpeak 30p per min, Free answerphone & gprs is supposed to be £1 per mb but at present I'm being charged 1p per mb.

I also worked for Orange, in Switzerland though...until France Telecom came along and f**ked everything up! Anyways, it's true, very good benefits, free line, free airtime from 7am-7pm mon-fri, including international calls, free GPRS and MMS when it came out, discounts @ certain businesses, etc...I liked my experience, just got all screwed by France Telecom's debts...250 people lost their jobs where I was...

I was surfing the orange website yesterday and looked at the jobs section, they don’t pay very much do they! £18,000 for a store manager, imagine all the crap you would have to put up with and all the spotty teenage assistants to shout at every 5 mins, it’s not worth 60k nevermind 18k. I will keep my career thanks. I somehow feel grateful for having to pay a ridiculous amount each month for my phone now. The amount they make, and the crap their employees have to put up with, they should be paying them better wages not poncing about with perks.
Bloody Orange!
