The problem is I can't get the SE software to find my T610 using bluetooth dongle D-Link DBT-120. The D-Link SW works so I can send pictures back and forth but the when I try to use the SE software the fun ends. I have the latest SE and D-link SW. What have I missed?

You must enable the COM port that corresponds to the BT serial port. This is done by control panel -> phone monitor option

I have the same bluetooth dongle and works fine with all aplications.

U need to go to my bluetooth places, activate the serial link with your t610 and then configurate the phone monitor to the correct com port (must be COM 4,5 or 6)

Why dont you take a look to the My PC does not detect my phone. What do I do? Here is what you can try... thread

Cheers,

Even if I try with the description given in the link I can't change my setting in the phone monitor. The buttons aren't enabled. What next???

Mine does the same thing. But when I ran the setup wizard for the D-Link and paired the phone the BT software installed the PIM Synchonization service for BT. When I sync the phone with my laptop I don't use ExtendConnect, but the Bluetooth service, works great.

To synchronize the phone I just go into My Bluetooth places and select IRMC synch...

http://aleron.dl.sourceforge.[....]rge/fma/fma-0.1.0.35-setup.exe

that's FMA, much better than any SE/Outlook sync program. Plus, You don't need to set up the COM ports, just download the program, install, and run!
