Hi, I know that there area plenty of threads considering this subject but most of them are too old, inactive or different dongle than I have. So, I'm having problems with my Bluetooth (A-Link BT-dongle) and my T68i.
The Bluetooth itselft works fine, I can see my phone and my phone is able to see my PC BUT....none of my SE softwares detect my phone. So, I cannot send anything etc, even my Mobile Phone Monitor doesn't detect it. I have set the right COM-ports and all but vain. Once I got it work for about 3 minutes
I'm using Windows XP pro, Widcomm Bluetooth software and that A-Link USB dongle. Please help, I have been fighting here for a week, about 4 hours a day -_- |

With Widcomm soft you dont need any of the SE software to send stuff to the phone. Simply locate the t68i in "My Bluetooth Places\Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood", double-click t68i symbol, drop the file you want to send on the "OBEX Object Push" symbol.
If you dont see the "OBEX Object Push" symbol you might need to a right-click and refresh.
If you want to use the other software that uses a BT serial connection see to it that the connection is activated (yellow serial port symbol) and then connect to the com-port

on your phone, go to the picture, sound, calander item you want to send. click the options button, scroll to send, and then scroll to via bluetooth. it will send it to your PC. make sure your phone and PC are paired before you try to send anything! the transfered item from your phone will automatically be stored in your 'Bluetooth Transfer Folder' which you should access in My Bluetooth Places.

Yeah, I know but it always says "Bluetooth connection failed, retry?" when I'm trying to send something. |

Its likely you disabled the possibility to receive items via BT on your computer. If you check the Bluetooth "advanced configuration" you can find "accessibility" settings. Allow every device to connect and check "Let other Bluetooth devices discover this computer".
