they shouldn't have been carting it open through the streets anyway - just imagine the smell - and there are ways to help the accumulated gases escape saffely (tubing and so forth).

now that stems from experience mate....the aussies haf years and years of experience in dealing with stuff like this.....unfortunately not for the taiwanese....i believe this is the 2nd beaching they had in a long time and wildlife conservation is not really a public issue to most of the folks in this region but hopefully that'll change in time.........if u ask me, the sole reason for the dwindlin shark and whale population is not due to the Jaws trilogy (as wrongly highlighted by most documentaries in Nat Geo or Discovery) but rather to the unsatiable appetite of the chinese for such exotic meals.......

Just coz a contry is alowing to kill whales for comercial use or whatever its called. Dosent make all the citizens of the contrys to wankers.
