How do you keep the HPM-10 attached? |

As everyone one knows, the HPM-10 tends to disconnect from the phone all too often. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to keep it a bit more securely attached to the phone?
The only way I can think, is to get seperate SE connectors (i.e. male & female) and have a cable running between the HPM-10 & the phone but i'm not sure if and where you can get these.

Keeping the Phone upside down, with the mp3 on top, in the pocket helps a lot. |

i'm using hpm-10 on my t68i. what i did is i purchased this sponge tape, about 1 cm thick, and it stretches to any length you want. I cut about 6 cm and wrap it around the base of the t68i where the hpm-10 connects. the sponge tape has a sticking ability with no adhesive, so it doesn't get the phone sticky or have any residue. It is made by 3M, but I forgot the name. I purchased it at a home depot. I'm sure you can find it at any hardware store. it may look ugly, but i use it when I have the phone/hpm in my pocket or jacket pocket and it works like a charm.

@t68iNWO
Is it sth. green? Does it looks like a chewing gum? I think I had one of those...
I think that changing the connector might be a good decision.. The HPR-20 has a very good connector... The old accesories have very dodgy connectors, so if you can find a new connector try changing it... (PS: Do it at your own risk... Haven't tried it before, just a guess...) |

Thanks. I think i'll give that 'sponge tape' stuff a go, if I can find any.
If not I might have to go to my local SE dealer and see if he can shed any light.

There's a post on here somewhere about this, you cut out a piece of card so it just fits round the base of the connector on the HPM-10 and this fills the gap between the HPM and phone, it works great, did when I had one anyway. |

A strong adhesive from homebase would do it
