back to vodafone firmware :( |

i have a vodafone branded mobile.. a wile wen i got the firmware updated i told them to put SE firmware on it and they did..... but yesterday i got my firware updated to R3C, wat i didnt realise was my battery was almost flat (which i dont think matters wen updating the firmware) so after traveling in to the SE service center my fone was flat.. i took it in and they said it would be an hour, so for 1 hour i sat in my car bored shitless cuz this service center is in the middle of noware! so i get my fone back after an hour and go home, i put it on the charger and turned it on i looked at it AND THEY HAD PUT VODAFONE FIRMWARE BACK ON IT!!! i was soooo angry.. and i aint waiting 3 hours (1 hour in there, 1 hour getting it updated and 1 hour back) just to get rid of this shlt vodafone call firmware (can sum1 pls tell me y i need a 3rd shortcut to wap?!?!?!?)
and is there a way to post notes without the "more" menu?
oh well the good thing is, i lost my power button wen changing cases and i told him it was missin (expecting to have to pay for a new 1 to be installed) he said ok and put it down as a warrenty thing.. so it least i have a power button now.

This has unfortunately occurred to many people who had voda firmware, flashed to normal and then got an upgrade. This is also mentioned in the Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style) so beware!
