Keep it! Its an evidence of glorius times, it will serve u well in the next future too. Upgrade it with the last fw r4a every half year as a kind of refresh.

My first ericsson phone was the t29 then i moved on to the t39 was by far the best gray scale phone with its 4 shades me gray pictures looked beautiful i moved up to the t600 n now i use the t630 i am looking for a t39 or t600 just for keeps i love then both

After becoming an Ericsson convert many moons ago I've still got my little ivory-coloured T39m, complete with Hi-Cap battery, ICE-10 case & cradle. Unlike the phones I had afterwards (T68i, T630 and now K700i) the T39m never let me down once. Makes me wonder if there's a market for "simple" phones today, rather than the all-singing, all dancing, all-crashing gismos the phone companies tempt us with... |

Maybe good phone but now a little bit outdated.
I had T 28 and no problems with overcharging.

@boto a fone is never outdated aslong the main feature is working, namely making and receiving calls.

Keep the t39. it is one of the greatest phones Ericsson ever made. Today still a solid performer and always a good backup phone. And the reception marvellous.

it never let me down, it was slim, excellent flip, great bt, everything was top notch, i still have bht sadly i don't use it.... |
