I have been offered a phone that the seller is claiming that it is actually T68i although it is a T68. Could this be true?

if it is true and could be done, how can I check that it has been done?

Should I go for it? The price is around 150 us dollars.

Thanks

Apparently it is possible to upgrade a T68 to a T68i, I think that you will have to check firmware version to see if it had an upgrade, don’t hold me to this cause the first Sony Ericsson ive had is a T610

My T68 is upgraded to T68i, the best way to simply see if it really IS a T68i is to look if it has MMS support.

The T68i has MMS support, whereas the T68 only has the lowly EMS support.

Simple, oh and the startup animation should be different i think. I dont know cos i dont turn mine off at all.
Is this a dream or a memory?

It was indeed; but if FAQs aren't going to be used, someone better tell wrath000 (and laffen et al )so he doesn't waste any more time creating them. Alternatively, one can point out to noobs that such pages exist...

yeah thats been a popular theme in quite a few threads lately.

I still reckon new users should be made to read an induction page and answer a few questions on it before they can post! (I said this in a recent Vermania thread but that got deleted).

Of course that is never going to be implemented but it would certainly help stop people finding Esato in a google search and jumping straight in, although its clear that most people who do that really really want to get their question answered and postic a topic would appear to be the quickest way.

I still grumble about the Esato search every day when I take 5 minutes to find something instead of 10 seconds because it omitted to use key words that would have zoomed straight into the answer. but thats another story.

We also need the moderators to jump in much more quickly and close threads like this one (i.e. threads where a clear question has been given a clear answer, or two).
