does anyone know how to re-order the data connections on a T610 ?
I had the three settings sent out from my operator (Optus) but I've ready somewhere that the Internet one needs to be first... guess what, it's last !
So far I've been unable to connect to anything !
Don't want to spend another hour on the phone with the telco like last time I wanted to get my Palm working with a 7650 via IrDA and GPRS, so thought I'd try stuff here first !

It doesn't have to be first. When establishing an internet connection using your phone as a modem simply use the CID for your internet data account, in your case the CID would be 3.

um... how do I select different CIDs ?
Dialing from Palm and WinXP about only the options I've got is a phone number (or I'm missing something really obvious !)

I dont know much about other operators (could be different), but I dial *99# for the GPRS account, if it has CID=1, or *99***X#, where X is the CID number if CID is not 1. |

Thanks - will give it a try.
As it happens I'm going to have to reenter the internet/wap/gprs settings as my T610 is being reflashed today to solve a Bluetooth headset problem (I hope) from R1A to R1L

You will not lose your settings, contacts etc when upgrading to R1L and R1L will not fix the headset problem but it does make it considerably less noticeable.
Here is the big R1L thread where you can find all this info.

Hi masseur - thanks for the link.
So far all has been great with the R1L upgrade... the crackle on the Nokia HDW-2 has gone.
Not 100% sure how stable the BT pairing is though, as sometimes the phone seems to forget it has the headset.
Ah well... maybe the T610i and the HDW-3 will work better !
