setting up my P800 with ADSL instead of GPRS |

I know this have been discuss sometime ago, but can some pls advise me how I can hook up my p800 with my usb cable and utlitize my ADSL modem without using the phones gprs services. I need steps to it. some say u need opra browser some say no need. which is true!!! I'm a newbie to P800 n really appreciate if some one could help!!!

Connect the phone to the PC, fire up WAP. Does the GPRS icon show? If not, you are already browsing via your PC ADSL

here is my story.... i'm using the dcu10 usb cable to sync my p800. i already have gprs n wap configured thru my own telco. I just wanna know how to get the internal browser to work with my PC which is connected to a cable modem!!! don't wanna use gprs!!! u mentioned fired up wap, but it still prompt me to connect!!!! what is wrong???

Tell it to go ahead and connect. See if the GPRS icon comes up. If it doesn't - you are surfing through the PC, if it does come up, read the thread I gave in the earlier post, you'll probably find your answer there...
