Here are some of the things I wanna know:
on the review, it said the submenu are numbered and can be easily natvigate, but I can't see the submenu are numbered in the photos.....any thought??
Also, sms tone can be personalise but only from 8 defaulted tones......wondering how does these sounds like, are they loud enough?? would be nice if we can have our own choice from our melody. But as long as those 8 default tones are nice and loud, I am happy ! Btw, are those 8 defaulted tones polyphonic ringtone???
As with MMS, so now we are only able to send 1 picture per MMS.....how about slide show??
I also wanna know how's the polyphonic ringtone from T610 compare with samsung's phones, are they loud enough??
Finally, one big query ! So what's the free memory size after those pre-defaulted pics and stuffs? Less than 2Mb??? Also, how's the memory allocation in T610 like? cos in T68i (most of you will know), backgrounds of actual size of 5k will take up something like 14k in the phone memory, how about on T610? Would the phone taken up much more memory than the backgrounds's actual size??? Please let us know, Eldar Murtazin ! Thanks very much !

@lesneo
I have all my contacts with postal addresses included on my T68i. I'm sure one will be able to do the same sort of thing with the 610. I posted how I did it, but no one seemed interested. I love the fact that I have postal addresses for every contact. Check out the link to my post if you want to know how.. Cheers, Roger

Whats with MMS on this thing???
"...Functional capabilities were reduced compared with T68i, probably because of the providers pressure. (...)But on the other, owners of T68i will be disappointed, unfortunately, the new device is made according to common standards. Its predecessor has richer capabilities."
WHY??

About the MMS, that is sad to see that the great MMS capabilities were reduced.
The sad part is that they probably did this to adjust to the other manufacturers like Nokia. But it is really sad |

Correct me if i'm wrong, but lately released Siemens S55 supports multiple pages/images, does it?
It's a step back, MMS is going to be just like nokia picture messaging with colour.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Siemens S55 allows slideshows just like T68i/T300.
But AFAIK most other MMS phones don't
The more positive thing is that the user-interface looks really good. With most of the stuff nicely shaded. Also the possiblity to edit the themes on the phone seems like a nice feature

Yes thatīs correct. I choose New MMS -> page 1 image - sound - text - duration. Page 2 and so on..
AND, in adress book i have:Last name, first name, phone work, home, mobile, Fax 1-2, e-mail 1 -2 URL, callergroup, company, street, zip, City, country, birthday, reminder yes/no, and picture.
Thatīs but a few reasons i replaced my t68i with it
cheers! |

Well, i think if SE wouldn't give up, other manufacturers would adapt to it's MMS standard, just like siemens did (well, maybe nokia wouldn't, as it didn't with EMS standard too, but who cares).
And as i read in t610 white paper, it supports SMIL files, so good thing is, that it probably wouldn't be difficult to add in future SW updates. Thoug, it would be against logic.
Eldar is most probably right in his review, it was operators pressure: how can we make money on MMS when compatibility of different phones sucks (read: adapt to nokia, they have bigger market share), or just they wanted to be MMS smaller. Smaller data transfer, same cost per MMS.

No, that was a reply to mktīs question about the Siemens S55. That is the one i have now.
Donīt like the looks of new SE-lineup and the S55 was available when i was looking for a t68i replacement.
Itīs a clever little phone! Nice looks and good features except display (same as t68i) You can save pics as .bmp though to avoid ugly dithering.

Can't believe you can only send one picture per MMS. This is definitely a scam by the Network Providers, as they charge 40p (in UK) per message. Maybe I will keep my t68i so I can send huge MMS messages with as many pictures as possible!

Or you guys just stick with P800 which has actually no limit at all when it comes to MMS,T68 has 40KB limit apx.
I know I will stick with my P800 for a loong time, Z1010 is the only one I possibly could consider swapping it with. |

Took me ages to figure out how to view that .avi file.
after installing all the media players and divx codes, I find out that Quicktime (6) can play it... |
