21:9 tablet would be awful. If the screen alone has 18cm width, it would have 42cm height. Most of the tablets have less than 22cm tall. Even 12,9" ipad pro has less than 30.

You guys are too much optimistic
The tablet prospect is killed for good, dont even expect it in foreseeable future
Folding phone have more chance of being success than tablet, also coincidence with Sony ongoing developments related to foldable mechanism.
Like I said before, the next device will be a globally released one, from North America Europe to Asia. The last Pro device launch was very limited in availability, and Sony wont dare to launch a hyper expensive product in global scale

I thought all related to flex screens was sold to LG. Is sony gonna cut production of 5iii in favor of all this? I doubt sony has CPU/ram/stprage to make all them as much they desire.

Few years ago , it was possible to at least find screen size and body size through fcc docs.

Impossible now.

Juding by the video, to me it does not seem to share body with 1iii. Looks loop like xz.

take a look at full resolution. it's definitely the Xperia 1 II with 3 cameras. notice the rounded corners. it's definitely far from boxy like the Xperia xz series. Even zack on Weibo says that new products are so strictly kept secret.

Top of the phone looks "round" like XA2. Not perfect rectangle like 1 series. The front and rear are clearly not parallel.

If you work there, please tell them nobody wants 10 series again with 2012 cam system. Not 45Mbps 4K@30 (10iii) when previous models can do 54Mbps.

I do not understand why 888+. All it is gonna do it is to generate more heat.

1iii has much larger graphite stripe than 1ii, still works at higher temperature.

Considering it seems to cost more than 1iii, it better be 4K screen and more battery.

From what I know and tested, 10III have better video capture quality than 10II. Even 3rd party reviewers such as GSMArena also confirmed this. Bitrate is not everything.

Not if Sony is able to cool the processor down just like how they did it for the high end Alpha cameras. Hope for even better cooling tech than xperia pro haha ~

I suppose Xperia Pro can tame 888+ and even 810 easily.
We cannot compare 📷 because they are thick. And do not have IP68.

Tell someone there please:

1) 10iv needs: upcoming "SD695", same 6GB/128GB, dual slot not hybrid, dual speakers, 557 + 577 + 577, metal frame, colours of Z3c, cam buttom.

2) to return Album because Google Photos is worse than awful. Give back option to "put near ear to answer call or shake phone to refuse", the " I cant answer now, please leave message after the beep" (I use this , 😁).

3) 1iv in Silver Chrome and Gold like Z5P. 5iv in blue (XZs), Yellow (Z5c), Silver (M4), pink (X Perfm).

By the way, the green 1iii is for sale in China already. Looks darker green than 1ii.

After I saw the comments about 888+ thermal, I checked my stuff again and looks like I got myself into trouble with the claims of PDX-217 using 888+, turned out the upcoming may still using 888 and the one next year supposed to use 888+
oopsie.....sorry about that
Also for mmWave fan, you might want to skip this as it has no mmWave support. But the next year will have it, same as the Pro. Maybe "Pro II"

Doesnt the japanese 1iii have mmWave?

Sony is taking too much to drop OIS and apply I.B.I.S.

I asked in 2018 along with rear white glass and eye AF.

But my request has not been answered yet. 😒
Kiyama should not waste time with AI digital zoom and fake bokeh. Other things are more important like burst + raw. If A6000 with 2013 tech can do it, no way 1iii lacks power for this. New A7iv has 60ms readout @14bit, xperia has 10ms.

Tell person responsible for SteadyShot, it was very well done this time. Great performance like old times (z5/XZ). Might be #1 again.

One from XZP to 1 was very weak.

Any owner of 1iii/5iii, is the raw 10 or 12bit? Mobile version of photo editors do not show info.
