10iii made top20 sellers in Taiwan again. It was #8 in July, now #6 in August. 😏
https://sumahodigest.com/?p=3539 Xperia geekbench with SD778.
So, S22/22+ are tipped to use 50MP 1/1.56" GN5, same specs of imx766. I hope 1iv does not use a variant of 766. Quadbayer sucks.

I was about to say that poster looks alot like liquid lens and the fact that they managed to keep it under wraps that long is just remarkable.
I can only imagine nodar trying to say he leaked this |

With Sony's not too impressive track record when it comes to release of devices after announcement. I wouldn't be too surprised if we end up seeing new devices from other brands with the latest SoC from Qualcomm, whereas Sony will be rocking yesteryears chip.

Sad but true.
I think they'll arrive with another 'World's first in a Smartphone . . . . . ." but by the time it arrives in store, prospective buyers would either have forgotten or have already been enticed by something else.
I mean, who goes and looks for something to buy, then says to themselves, "Looks good, but it'll be an even better buy if I wait four months."
They needs to get it on the shelves ASAP because the market moves too fast.
