Had my Xperia 5 for a while now. I ranted about the screen colours not being vibrant but actually, they are accurate and similar to what I see on my laptop so it's reassuring. I figured how to use the Dolby Atmos properly and the equaliser is versatile, I now have very strong bass in my music player.
Battery and performance is excellent. No drop in quality when playing Call Of Duty and little drain on the battery. Normal use I easily get one and a half days. The camera software is a bit clunky but the picture quality is excellent, really big upgrade to XZ2 and XZ3. I highly recommend this phone to any Sony fan. |

Not in English but visuals speak for themselves. Looks like x5 lost the no jitter stabilization along with DRAM.
The jump between cameras were embarrassing to watch compared to i11. |

Managed to find a grey one on eBay for £490. Not many black Friday deals about. Can't wait.

Hi old friend,
I waited for some deals to replace my XZs with a Xperia 5 but Sony did nothing this year in Sweden. 100€+PS4 deal and then there was one late 200€ deal resulting in a 599€ price tag. So yesterday after 20+ years with  /  /Sony I reluctantly switched to a Samsung phone.
I got me a Samsung Galaxy S10 128GB Black for 599€ (400€ price cut), the same price as the Xperia 5.
My kid sister (that never used anything but /Sony in her life) also wanted the Xperia 5 but switched from her Sony to a Galaxy S10e... (the S10e 128GB only cost her 300€ compared to 599€ for the X5!) A dark dark day for the family 
OT: Xperia 1 goes for 799€ as a Black Friday deal and that price is just ridiculous atm.
Anyways I hope 2020 brings something better more competitive from Sony.

Finally able to put my XZ2 up for sale and pretty pleased with my new X 5. Can''t wait to get out and test the camera but it's true what the reviews say, the FP sensor could be better.
Loving the high quality materials in the design and it is surprisingly easy to use, considering the size. So much so that I thought for a minute that I should have gone for the X 1.
