Besides 960fps, anything else removed compared to x1?

Can't tell but here's specs wise comparison via gsmarena.

Gained band 25 and 34
(~80.9% screen-to-body ratio) vs 82%

128GB 6GB RAM no 64gb version
Back Cameras are the exact same, but gsmarena is saying 1080p@960fps hmm.
Selfie same cam

Nice to see the return of the Compact but no mention of the Super Slo Motion on the official website.

@goldenface
Exactly what I mean gsmarena says 960fps
But official site doesn't, unless gsmarena is just assuming because of exact same specs...

Seems like Sony use lower level Exmor RS sensor on 5.

No memory stack, No dual photo diode, No Optical SteadyShot™ No H.265 on 4K recording

Its not a Compact. It is still a huge phone. Slim it down aditional 10% to 143x62 mm. Then maybe, just maybe, I'll be intressted. Ideal, i think, would be 136x59 mm (additional 5% decrease) thats when we talk almost Xperia Ray size (111x53). Wich is still to this day the best one hand held phone i ever had. I do miss it sometimes and take it out just to look at it. Absoluty stunning.

You're right, of course, but it is 'Compact' compared to it's older sibling.

Xperia 5 promo video. I like it, even the product page is more dynamic with clips from this. I think it looks better than Xperia 1. X5 is more symmetrical on the front and the back glass is less curvy. The grey option looks better too. Pricing will make or break this phone. At 800 it doesn't have a chance imo.

Pity they didn't make it a 5G phone, it would have been good for PR

Dual photo diode is mentioned in the camera features, as is OIS for the 26 and 52mm lenses.
